Offered for Sale is this Vintage Foot - Operated STIMPSON R1 Model 479 Grommet Setting Machine in VGUC.  Please read the above for the item's description & condition, and please study my photos. This is built like a tank, and just as heavy. Stepping on the foot pedal closes the punch & die smoothly. If you're looking for this machine then you've found one here in great condition, ready to be put to work.
I AM CURRENTLY IN CONTACT WITH A COMPANY, SISKA, LOCATED IN NEW JERSEY, FOR SPECIFIC INFORMATION. THIS HAS A R1 BASE, AND THE MACHINE IS A MODEL 479. I AM CURRENTLY TRYING TO ASCERTAIN WHAT DIES ARE IN THIS. SISKA HANDLES INFORMATION & PARTS FOR THIS MACHINE. I DO NOT KNOW THE WEIGHT, NOR DO I HAVE ACCESS TO A SCALE THAT CAN HANDLE THIS.
THIS IS A PICK-UP ONLY.  I will NOT ship.

Any purchaser MUST provide me with a working phone number on purchase; payment MUST be made within three business days; pick up MUST occur within ten business days of purchase UNLESS other arrangements have been made PRIOR to purchase and mutually agreed upon. Pick up availability is EXTREMELY LIMITED - you the buyer will have to pick up within an agreed to FOUR HOUR time slot on a particular day - I'm not going to wait all day for a buyer to show up.
I can not recommend a local shipper. If you're picking up in person you need to have a suitable vehicle to transport this in AND have the help to lift this into your vehicle.  THIS IS EXTREMELY HEAVY. . Any third-party shipper will have to sign off on condition and provide me in writing their assumption of all liability in transport

Parcel Post and Media Mail delivery take longer than Priority Mail, and International delivery may take longer due to customs.

I DO NOT SHIP “PARCEL SELECT”. If any shipping charge paid exceeds the amount charged by more than the handling fee added to every item, then any “overcharge” MAY be refunded back to the buyer through their Paypal account.
